PPOE In Windows Server 2003

Hello All,

I am using the following Operating System:

Windows Server 2003 SP1

I had to switch to another broadband provider i.e. "NOW BRoadband" in UK.

It installs fine in windows xp but when i try to install on win2k3 it just gives an error box without any message in it.

I have even configured it on macosx, which is pretty straightforward, as for mac, u need to go to a cerain page once modem is connected via ethernet and then u configure the ppoe options in network settings.

in win2k3 when i check my network card there is no ppoe option to configure the username and password.

any help ??

have you tried setting up a new network connection? that's usually where you select the type of service
