Windows could not load the installer for Battery.

Thank you. That solved the problem:

More specifically, I copied batt.dll (which was missing from my system32 folder) from my original CD. For some reason, it did not copy during the installation process.

Thanks again.

Could not load the installer for battery FIXED, Solved

The batt.dll file is missing in the windows/system32 folder

download the file from www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/B/batt.dll/5.1.2600.2180/download.html

and put it in the c:winodws/system32 folder

If it doesn't install automaticaly ,then ,when prompted to install the battery, Browse to the system32 folder.

Have a nice day .PcTechPetru

I am one of three people still making addons and update packs using the RyanVM Integrator, and I discovered this problem after patching syssetup.inf.   A satisfactory solution to the problem of the battery driver not found message after the completion of the Windows installation is to add this line to HIVECLS.INF to set driver signing to "ignore":

HKCU,"SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Driver Signing","BehaviorOnFailedVerify",0x10001,0

and this line into HIVESFT.INF to set driver signing to "ignore":

HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing","Policy",0x00001,0

Here is the complete entries in the entries.ini file:

[EditFile]
HIVECLS.INF,AddReg,Addline6
HIVESFT.INF,AddReg,Addline7

[Addline6]
HKCU,"SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Driver Signing","BehaviorOnFailedVerify",0x10001,0

[Addline7]
HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing","Policy",0x00001,0

RunOnce values added to HIVECLS.INF reset driver signing to the default "warn" setting at the end of the Windows installation.
