PROB | Do I need audio or mboard drivers?

Hello,

I have a problem with my webcam, the video is working but mic is not being recognised. I have tested the webcam on another pc and it works fine, no problem with the mic.

The drivers of the webcam have been installed but as far as I know they won't be used by the mic, instead it should use the audio drivers.

Now, under "device manager" I do not see any audio card listed except for

"Microsoft UAA Function Driver for High Definition Audio - Adi 1986". I think I do not have installed the right drivers but I do not know which I have to install? Anyone can help me please?

WinXP 2002

Mboard: Asus geforce 6100 A8N-VM APCI

CPU AMD Athlon 3200

TIA

That only installed the driver for the audio bus. you need to install the drivers for the audio chipset too. in your case drivers for adi audio chipset.
