what about logging in as a different user...

maybe something is corrupt with your profile...

i'd give that a shot first..

Try

path=c:\windows\system32;

The full default path is

C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem

Try adding "SET path=" in front of that (no spaces around the equal sign!) and then see if you can run things. If so, you need to set the path to that in the System control panel.
