tarquel Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 unless u use its own proxy server [that you connect to using that dial up number] it isnt going to work as thats the only way it allows the users to authenticate most likely...you'll probably need to discuss it with them, and if they dont give you a option around it, your best off looking for a alternative host.I had something similar happen to me - cud only use the webspace of my ISP [when i was on dialup] using the dialup up number for the internet. As i was dialup back then, it wasnt a problem until broadband came here and i couldnt use anything other than the dial-up number again - not fun.Basically - theres much better offers out there Regards,N.
