how to select proxy

hi guys,

i have ADSL connection and want to use some services from a site.this site cannot give any service untill you use its own dialup No.

how to select proxy to avoid this message "you must use No. 0xxx xxx to enter"

unless u use its own proxy server [that you connect to using that dial up number] it isnt going to work as thats the only way it allows the users to authenticate most likely...

you'll probably need to discuss it with them, and if they dont give you a option around it, your best off looking for a alternative host.

I had something similar happen to me - cud only use the webspace of my ISP [when i was on dialup] using the dialup up number for the internet. As i was dialup back then, it wasnt a problem until broadband came here and i couldnt use anything other than the dial-up number again - not fun.

Basically - theres much better offers out there
