Basic Programs recommended (can choose all, any or none - just do your thing):

Office, Antivirus, Anti-spyware, Nero, Alcohol, DotNet 2.0, JRE, internet browser, Compression utility, a media player, Codec Paks, HideIP or better, Instant messenger, DirectX, DVD utilities (Decryptor, Shrink, etc) & DriverPacks....

I use HFSLIP to slipstream hotfixes, slipstream codecs, replace windows applications, parse REG and INF and CMD files at T-13, install programs via svcpack & cmdlines. I also use HFSLIP to reduce the source (as opposed to using NLITE). I simply fill the folders, run HFSLIP (it makes a bootable ISO), burn the ISO on a cd and install. Total time for click to iso creation is about 15 minutes. Installing cd takes about 15 minutes (10 minutes for the OS and 5 for applications). This procedure works for 2k+DX9+IE6+updates slipsteamed & XP (sp1+updates or sp2+updates). I can't verify it works with 2003.

My RunonceEx I add 3 more updates and install my software.

My last test install I only needed 2 updates and the monthly malware update.
