Boot.ini?

Featured Replies

Good Morning everybody!

First I'd like you excuse me for my language, I'm french!

And if it was not enough, this is the fisrt time I'm posting on a forum!

I'm making a CD for unattend installayion of Windows XP pro with the help of your great guide.

But there's something I can't find, so I need your help.

Here we are.

I've got several OS on my computer, and I usually edit the BOOT.ini file to rename them in the first boot menu.

And when I install a new OS, it makes a new entry in this file (Windows XP Professionnel).

- I hope everybody can understand what I say -

I just would like to know if it's possible to change this default name, and how to.

I hope you'll can help me. Or maybe will you redirect me to a french forum which you know it's serious.

I really thank you!
