The SM BUS Controller is not being deteced in Widows XP under the Device Manager, when installing the chipst Drivers which I downloaded though Dell's support site, the install process is fine but when I reboot, I get nothing but a blue screen, I tried to update the driver manually JUST for the SM BUS Controller by going to the extraction location of the chipset drivers but it does not find any files to update?, any ideas on this would be very helpful and appreciated, Thank You.

Go to Intel's site, and download Intel INF v6.3.0.1007 and see how that goes.

You can then run the later version over the top...
