ATI video card problem

Do you guys own an ATI video card?

I'm just wondering, I have an ATI Radeon 9600 256MB Pro, and I have a problem with it. Most of the time when I load a game, and start a new game, my computer would hang, thanks to my video card. I've updated my video drivers, and the problem is still persisting. Do you guys actually own this model, and if so, do you have problems with it, like VPU Recover errors, like the problem I described.

I swear, I'm sure its my card that is faulty, because I have another older ATI card (Radeon 9250 128MB) which works perfectly.

Guess I'm going to have to get it replaced.

when was the last time it worked, if ever? and how long have u had it?

Well, to begin with, it never did work properly, it it did manage to work for a few months, though I did have stability problems with it from the beginning, like if I installed a new driver, my video would either lose signal between the monitor, or the computer would just hang.

I've had my video card for at least 4 months, I think. Just today I returned to the computer store to get it repaired, and I have to wait few weeks, because they need to send it back to ATI.
