[Question] - install winxp from external hd

My bios can boot from my usb external hd. I would copy all the contents of the cd to the hd, is there something else i should do?

Boot from it, to a command prompt, then run WINNT.EXE in the I386 directory to begin the setup.

When i boot from it, it says something like NTDRL error, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.

You didn't make it bootable.

Need to have DOS system files on it first.

It must boot to command prompt.
