ck1tobeat
Hi,I want to know if there is anyway that i can setup outlook to send emails when it isn't running. For example, i create alot of email messages using the "new message" button on my internet explorer toolbar & also send files from my computer vy righ clicking the file and choosing "send to mail recipient". When i open outlook later that day or the following day, i notice that these messages stay in the outbox folder and dont actually get sent and outlook is running. When i use to use outlook express it would send the emails without it even running, i wonder if i can setup outlook 2003 to do it this way aswell??Cheers,Chris
nmX.Memnoch
See if this option is configured:Open OutlookGo to Tools > OptionsGo to the Mail Setup tabMake sure the Send immediately when connected option is checkedI'm still not entirely sure this will make it work if Outlook isn't open though.
