ABEO Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 OK all that stuff Crispy said went straight over my head :/Just tell me this, when will you use that in your career?I have only done GCSE maths and I haven't used any of it yet @becca: I'm sure you did fine hunny, u seem like a smart girl
beccatigger Posted June 13, 2003 Author Posted June 13, 2003 Crispy is either doing or has done a degree in maths cos that is way over my head...smartass
shaft Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 CRISPYis that just a formula?ie: put a number into (x) to find an answer for what the formula was formulated for?
beccatigger Posted June 13, 2003 Author Posted June 13, 2003 well say the formula was 2X+1if u integrate (that;s the funny squiggle that looks like an S)then u find the area under the graph, all he's doing is integrating a really complicated formula, when u integrate trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan etc) it all starts getting a bit funny....does that help?
amdphr3@kXP Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 wow bex ur smart , lol i hav no idea wat ur talkin bout and ive been outta skool for nearly a year haha
Crispy Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 is that just a formula? No, its the power of my Pentium 4 in action ... A program called Mathcad, if anyone know it ... Does everything, including differentiating
ABEO Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 Actually it does a bit, but I don't see and funny squiggles that look like an S
beccatigger Posted June 13, 2003 Author Posted June 13, 2003 whooops sorry he was differentiating which means u find the gradient of the line at a particular point Crispy stop showing off
