do you know how i would change the "balloon pop" sound and the "recycle bin" sound in winxp? I got some vista sounds and I've been able to change all of them except those 2

For the empty recycle bin, go to the 'Control Panel' (switch to Classic View) in the 'Sounds and Audio Devices' option, look in the 'Sounds' tab.

In the scroll box, go down to the 'Windows Explorer' section, and just below, you should find the 'Empty Recycle Bin' sound, and be able to change it.

The balloon pop is probably in there too, though probably called something different.

i just wasent looking hard enough.

Empty recycle was in the windows explorer section and the "baloon pop" AKA system notificartion was in the windows section!, thanks again!

now my system is fully vista-fied
