I've gone into my controls to change/set my avatar with a 3k jpg, 99x100x24 BPP off my computer and I am told "You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo" Any suggestions as to what I need to do correctly?

sure that its a .jpg or .gif? i would advice you to convert it to jpg or gif if its another file extention

It's a jpg and I tried a bmp. I'll give it a shot in other selectable formats. Thanks.

Edit: Just saw that bmp was not an option. Will try the others.

Edit 2: Tried the other formats except swf, uploaded jpg to a file host and linked to that, all a no go.
