Thx
cluberti Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Try the following command from a command prompt, and see what happens:regsvr32 softpub.dll wintrust.dll initpki.dll dssenh.dll rsaenh.dll gpkcsp.dll sccbase.dll slbcsp.dll cryptdlg.dll
nmX.Memnoch Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Reregisters all of those DLLs. Occassionally, and very rarely, they can become unregistered for one reason or another.I had an issue with IE6 a while back where I couldn't get anything to open in a new window. Reregistering a few DLLs fixed the issue.
cluberti Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 The error indicates a security trust issue - it's either those .dll's or a group policy software restriction policy. Since most people don't run an AD at home or muck with the local security policies, it's likely an unregistered security .dll. The command should rectify that.
Cronner Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 i cannot reregister these two dllssccbase.dll slbcsp.dlli get module eller tried to download them from websites and put em in system32
pmshah Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 You could try expanding these 2 files (sccbase.dll slbcsp.dll) from the installation CD. You will find them as sccbase.dl_ and slbcsp.dl_.
