I have installed easy CD creator with directCD ONLY and applied the 5.2 update every thing works perfect but the problem I am having is when I switch off my computer it always reboots.

when I take out directCD it shuts down normaL.

is there anything I can do to have directCD and still shut down my computer coz I really want directCD.

Nope, Even with the upgrade it still doesnt get along with XP all that well. I tried a million different things and I had to uninstall it. Maybe someone else might have an idea but I had no luck.

Just use Nero..its a great peogram...and it runs with Xp no prob

You need to upgrade to DirectCD 5.1, 5.02 still having problem in shut down computer, mine works fine in 5.1.

Even upgrading to 5.02 has left alot of people with promblems under XP, Myself included.

I installed ecdc 5.0 and then upped it to 5.02 and then applied the xp update without rebooting it once until I had installed all patches then I let it reboot ..........I have had no probs with it at all, I had to experiment a little when I first installed it cause when I let it reboot before I applied the patches there were always probs!!
