muchlux
Hi,I want to periodical update w2k installations with security fixes etc.The computers have low speed dial in connections, so windowsupdate sucks.Starting point should be W2k with SP4.Searching the MSFN forums I found Gurgelmeyers Hotstream project which would be the hit but it supports only English versions. (I need german and maybe french)Currently I use HFSLIP for new installations with great success. Some computer magazines offer updatepacks but they usually works like a batch process applying dozens of fixes sequentially which last up to hours. So my question is:Does anybody know a procedure or a program to combine/slipstream hotfixes etc. to ONE single hotfix? -I-
what language version of windows ar you using.if your are using the english version, you might want to look at the hotstream project (also here on this forum), if ist a german version (or other non-enlish), it would be posible to build a localized service pack (if you can suply al the update, from a sertain list that is.... ).
