FYI: I noticed that on my testmachine the SPTDinst window text did not match with your script, cause it updates, so the text would be 'This program will update SCSI'. Ofc this would not happen at T-12 on a fresh install :)

And i tried to compile your _Daemon_Tool_v4.03.html and it worked but when i double-click on it write after i make it to see if it does anything i get this error

Open the above webpage one by one, edit>>select all and paste in a new .au3 file, could be created by notepad or context-menu right-click. If you have AutoIt 3 installed you should be able to right-click the .au3 file and choose compile. That's it :)

after that, all i need is the new exe created? do i still need the original Daemon403-x86.exe on my UnCd?

Yes.

Look here for simple instructions.

As BoardBabe has mentioned, an Au3 script is a plain text file, not Html. The Html is just for easy viewing.

actually.. This is easier to do than you think

Here are the noob steps to do this.

1: Go to www.duplexsecure.com/downloads and save it to your Desktop

2: go to your START menu

3: From the START menu select RUN

4: from the RUN menu, select BROWSE

5: Look for "ALL FILES" on the desktop from the browse exploration

6: Select it and click "OPEN"

7: In the RUN box it will display the address to the file in Quotes.... at the end of the quotes, use the SPACEBAR key to insert a space directly after the last "Quote"..

8: Now type the word add

9: Press OK

10: Thank me later

Peace

Nice tip :) , but I think that is where the script helps to install while you sit back for a awhile and rest.
