Codec problem!

I have nero7 and I'm using Nero ShowTime to play all my video file

How can i make other players from my system to use nero codecs to play video files!

Until now i've tryed all this:

1 used MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP VIDEO DECODER CHECKUP UTILITY to make nevideo.ax the default decoder

2 register nevideo.ax from it's location (C:\Program Files\CommonFiles\Ahead\DSFilter) with regsvr32.exe

3 copy nevideo.ax to C:\WINDOWS\system32 and register from there

PLEASE HELP !
