Well I recently downloaded MSN 6...the beta. Yes, i did something pretty awful. Well, it keeps on crashing so I've decided to get rid of it. However....I don't know why I can't get rid of it. Well, I tried to unistall it, then reinstall MSN messenger 5. However, it just keeps on changing to MSN 6. Is there a way that i can get rid of MSN 6 and bring back good old MSN messenger 5? Plz help!

hmm.... Make sure MSN Messenger 6 is closed, and the msnmsgr.exe process isn't running in Task Manager. Delete the MSN Messenger directory in X:\Program Files\ then reinstall MSN Messenger 5.

follow the path to this..

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MSN Messenger 6.0.0250

once u uninstall it.. remove the install file and here and the directory if you want.. no longer installs it :)
