exactly what the description implies; how would I go about replacing the boring windows shell with something more interesting? say..geoshell or astonshell?

I got an idea for my 2k unattended cd, and an alternate shell from the start would be sweet!

This should be what you want.

For one user:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"Shell"="C:\\Path\\YourShell.exe"

For all users:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"Shell"="C:\\Path\\YourShell.exe"

I've managed to make a silent and unattended install for the Aston-shell.

Only problem: I have to manually select my favourite theme and wallpapers after my computer has restarted

Aston as default Shell wasn't a problem.

Just do it like nakira said.

and I assume that it'd be easiest to use the oem folder to install the shell..
