[Help] - Taskbar acting funny..

My taskbar has been acting very funny; any programs I start do not show up! It's very bothersome, as I have to open the task manager everytime I want to change from one program to another (or else have my view filled with a clutter of miscallenious programs). If I minimize them, they disappear.

But you can see the Start button, task bar and system tray?

If you ALT-TAB between the tasks, does it restore the window if it was minimized?

If you have some applications running and resize/relocate the task bar do they appear?

Do system tray icons and the time display and update correctly?

If you hover the mouse cursor over a system tray icon do you get a tooltip pop up?

Does this happen for all users?

try this. i dunno if this help btw.

1)open task manager.

2)end the process named "explorer.exe"

3)then, the task manager again, click the File > New Task (Run...)

4)key in "explorer.exe" without the quote

the taskbar should be restarted by doing this. unstable taskbar often leads to this sort of problem.
