ahwb Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 Just now I use the software nlite to make a mini os Windows Server 2003, Enterprise.BUT a problem appeared several times that it showed a message "<system root >\wywtem32\ntoskrnl.exe "could not find.you must get a copy there.Now I want to know that whether the system root is $WIN_NT$.~BT or not ?And is the way $WIN_NT$.~BT \system32\ or $WIN_NT$.~LS\system32?If so it was not useful when I copy the file to that place.It appeared several times!who can help me?Thanks!
nmX.Memnoch Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 SystemRoot should be something like C:\WINDOWS\. The $WIN_NT$.* directories are directories that setup uses. They shouldn't exist anymore once setup completes.
ahwb Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 Nothing wrong with my question!after my computer rebooted it showed that ntoskrnl.exe missingIn common your words are right.Finally I found the problem:That the file systeme error occured lead to this problem.The os could not find the file.This kinds of error occured several times.My god!Some times the problem occured though it shows well when I shutdow my computer .SystemRoot should be something like C:\WINDOWS\.
