Can you give us a little bit more information on what you are needing?

If system files have become corrupt or missing in XP,,,,you can run

sfc /snannow

It will need access to your Windows XP CD and it will restore all missing or corrupt Sysem files.

It may take a while....so don't get in a hurry and start messing with it. Just leave it alone till it finishes.
