Default Folder View

I set my folder view to "Details". Then I go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View and I apply it to all folders. Yet, when I go to other folders the view stays as "Icons". Any ideas on how to make it system-wide to be able to have "Details" as my default view. This did work prior to XPize. Thank You! :)

I had the same problem. i think this happens because explorer does not save its settings before exiting.

Did you use nlite? and selected the tweak i thnk it was smthng like quicken explorer or something like that?

i have not got the perfect remedy for it. you can try one tweak in this programme . it is in windows xp names freeze the explorer view.

registry Tweaker

if this does not work , i can tell you that the problem is explorer not saving the settings. maybe you can find a remedy for that.
