Nero DVD burning problem

I was trying to burn some files onto the DVD. Not DVD iso's but just data like wor ddocuments and clips and such. It worked fine up until now. I wasted 3 dvd's trying different directions from google but nothing. So got a dvd-rw to burn it on now, and was wondering what the problem is.

Try changing your media, maybe it's a bad batch. What brand are you using?

hmm...the best advice i can give is not to use the disc-at-once feature. turn that off before burning next time. otherwise...it looks like its burning fine, its just not closing the session properly. you might have to just close the session on disc. i cant remember what menu its on. but up at the top there. recorder? extras? one of those.

@ Fox Mulder: I don't think i have a bad batch. Used about 30 out of the 50 and it worked fine.

@breadandbubbles: I got that disc-at-once error or something along that when I tried it the first time. Didn't come up the 2nd and 3rd time when burning. I'll turn it off and try.

ok solved it. It was a hardware issue. Needed to update my firmware so it can burn DVD+r 16x.
