Critux Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Hi Posters,I have an inbuilt "Intel Corporation 82801DBM AC'97 Modem Controller" in my Laptopthat doesnt work with Windows 98 SE. The modem uses a Agere chipst.I have tried using the generic 8.30 Agere drivers, searching google and add com ports 1 - 4.Its no good having to us Windows XP to use the internet.Regards, Critux.

Critux Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 I can only find drivers for Windows 95, 2000 and XP!I tried using the 95 drivers with no luck.When using LINUX i could use this modem with the SLMODEM Drivers.Does anyone have a solution?
