cumminbk
alright i am using this command regsvr32 /u /s zipfldr.dll to unregister zip files in windows. I am doing this with a batch file... the command works perfectly from Run in the start menu but when i use it in my batch file i get the following.. Microsoft Windows XP (version... yaya...)Copyright 1985-2001... yayac:\documents and settings\(my folder location)...and i have to type exit into the prompt before it carries out the command... How can i just have it unregister the dll without doing anything else.EDIT: just forgot to add cmd @ Edited December 18, 2005 by cumminbk

cumminbk
How does this differ from the zipfld.dll?regsvr32 /u /s cabview.dllPS. i know what cabs are... it just disables cabs in windows?
maxXPsoft
If you use something else, say WinRaR to open cabs then disabling them with those cmds will make things much nicer. IE opening a folder and it takes forever to read contents of those things and show them in a Folder view within the current folder. That sucks....... and is Slow.....
