Can anyone tell me the registry tweak that hides my computername from others in My Network Places ? So that I become hidden (others don`t see me when they browse the network) I just can`t remember it..

could you please post what it was? I've nLitted the installer to hide my computers and now need to unhide one of them. Would greately appreciate any help!

Machine name.

UPDATE: sorry i remember now you can use:

net config server /HIDDEN:{YES | NO}

Which change the Registry value:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanManServer\Parameters\Hidden

0 mean show

1 mean hide

in case you dont have hidden already create a dowrd value and name it Hidden
