[Help] - Change default file view

Ok I know that this is a dumd question but let me explain myself. I have almost 160gig of music, complete cd's and when viewin them I am sick of switching the view to list. Is there a way that I can make the list view the default for all file on the computer? I looked in control panel, file and folder options already and could't find anything. Thanks in advance.

Just set the view in the current folder to list. Then go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View and click Apply to all folders. Then these settings are taken for all folders.

Only thing is, that also your other foldersettings ( e.g. show hidden files ) of the current folder are taken for all folders. I don't know howto only set the view for all folders.

I find that anoying 2 but my resolved it simply by learning by hart the keyboard code ALT + V + L after a while it become a second nature where ever you are
