WindowsXP Shutdown problem

My mainboard supports shutdown automatic when the windows closed.

All the OS made it except WindowsXP

Sometimes does it, sometimes can not

What is the problem?

Give this a try, sounds like your problem to me.

I've also seen certain USB devices cause it randomly. Might try disconnecting those and see if they are afecting the shutdown process in any way.
