weird problem with first start

hey guys

ive got a weird problem ive had for awhile, everytime i start windows for the first time(inside vmware) it sits @ logon screen while its waiting for something to load, ive checked event viewer & all, cant find anything, disabled all startup programs from running, only when i dont use xplode ( its executed threw cmdlines.txt) its fine, its an application thats being installed thats causing this, but i cant find any , if i blank out all apps its ok, but if i go threw each 1 individually windows will sit there

I've had similar problems in the past.

It was on a real comp, not vmware, and caused by an improper driver.

Did you upgrade vmware? if so, you may need to reinstall the vmware tools.

other than this, i have no other suggestions.

yes, i upgraded & am using the latest vmware tools

it turns out it is vmware tools :S i wonder why it does that
