I've written a single program that silently installs Daemon Tools 3.47, enables all of the emulation options, and adds a virtual disc as drive Z:

Get it here:

Daemon Tools 3.47 Silent Installer + Enabler (630 KB)

How it works:

  1. Lists CD drives installed in the computer
  2. Installs Daemon Tools
  3. Installs Daemon Script
  4. Runs the script setup.DaemonScript (enables all emulation options)
  5. Uninstalls Daemon Script
  6. Lists CD drives installed in the computer again and uses the mountvol command to change the letter of the new drive to Z:

I like the idea. However, I tried this in my VMWare and the installation prompts for some drivers for the SCSI adapter. So it isn't completely unattended. Or do you think it would behave differently in real system?

Thanks MCT. I just wanted to mention this because I thought maybe he has somehow solved this issue in his package.

I have personally used the cmdlines.txt solution for installation to get rid of the mentioned annoyance.
