  1. Hi! Just to add my experience today. I also made a slipstreamed install CD with nLite. First, the setup gave error that it couldn't copy file inetcpl.cpl. Next, in grpahical portion I got another error that icfgnt.dll can't be found (or registered?). Anyway, after that netwrok didn't work at all and I couldn't install it. So, I suspected a faulty CD because the VMWare tests had been succesfull. I burned it again on another CD-RW and behold, the new installation went just fine and everything worked ok Just one possible solution to the problem...
  2. Thanks MCT. I just wanted to mention this because I thought maybe he has somehow solved this issue in his package. I have personally used the cmdlines.txt solution for installation to get rid of the mentioned annoyance.
  3. I like the idea. However, I tried this in my VMWare and the installation prompts for some drivers for the SCSI adapter. So it isn't completely unattended. Or do you think it would behave differently in real system?
  4. This is a weird problem! I hope someone has an idea Sometimes, occasionally the nvidia display driver and the monitor driver fail to load at XP bootup. Windows gives me my resolution (1280x1024) but with 60Hz refresh rate only. If I check display properties there is "Default monitor on _____" and empty fields in the Adapter tab. Sometimes a reboot helps, sometims a cold boot. It is really annoying, so I'm wondering what should I look to solve this? I did a comlete reinstall 1 month ago, but same happened before it. I can't pinpoint when this started, but it was after getting this gfx card and maybe 1-2 driver sets ago. Setup: - Geforce 6800LE AGP - Nvidia WHQL 71.89 drivers - Nforce2 mainboard - Slipstreamed XP SP2 install done with nLite (including drivers)
  5. Thanks! Works great! (the bookmark problem was one of my own I guess.. I got it right now even with the older version)
  6. Hi, I still have problem with the bookmarks.html. It resides in the project/profile directory together with the prefs.js file but it doesn't get carried on to the final package. Extensions work fine but this still escapes me... any tips?
  7. Well, the truth is embarassing While testing stuff I had deleted the whole Project directory along with the install.exe file in there.... so no wonder it didn't work! That's sorted then. I could now make a package and it installs fine... ...except for these minor issues: - Bookmarks.html doesn't get copied to the created profile - Adblock extension doesn't install. I will search the forums on this as I recall someone had the same problem.
  8. This program sounds promising but I have run into this same error as well. What I did: - Unpacked FF 1.0.3 with SoF - Copied extension xpis to project\extensions\ - Copied my prefs.js to project\profile\ - Copied my bookmark.htm to project\profile\ - Packed it in with SoF. Something I overlooked? Also, will the produced exe (if I manage to make one that works) be enough to install this unattended (RunOnceEx.cmd method) or does it need switches?
