ripken204 Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 just got a new wireless adapter, zew2500p. and for some reason, it is recognizing that my netgear router is there, but it wont/cant connect to it for some reason. ive tried a bunch of different drivers too... eyeball Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 i would try the following:1) drivers like u said2) make sure there is no encryption on the WAP until u can definatly connect to it3) give yourself a static IP in the same rangealso i had this wierd problem once where i couldnt connect to a WAP and found that if i opened the TCP/IP properties of the wireless connection and simply looked through all the tabs and pages and settings etc it connected... there was no way to explain this but it worked so maybe give that a go? possibl it was a bug with he WAP hope you get this sorted, i know how **** frustrating wireless can be lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
