I have the following list of updates that are to be installed after XP SP1a. Can i get away with doing this lot in 1 go in svcpack.inf?

Also on msfn unattended it says to put the files in numerical order. Wouldnt it be better to install them in the order they are installed from WU site.?

You should be able to, although it may take some time.
Wouldnt it be better to install them in the order they are installed from WU site.?
It would be better to slipstream SP2, and then add another 30 or so pre-SP3 hotfixes ;) That way you don't have to care about the order. All pre-sp3 hotfixes use update.exe that checks for the file versions anyway. Some pre-SP2 hotfixes may have this functionality too, you need to check the version.

Is there any specific reason you don't want SP2?

havent gone to sp2 as it effects to many aplications we currently tun at my work due to firewall etc.

SP1A + updates is fine for now.. not worth going for SP2 might aswell wait for SP3.
