Each time I scan my 'puter thru my WinAnti-Virus, it indicates MSOE.CHM as a 'protected' virus, located at c:\works\redist\ie6\tempfile.cab\. When I track it down and find it, I can only open it a variety of ways, but not delete it.

First: Is it a virus? And if not, why is it shown as such? How can I delete it?

Have you tried safe mode? Or safe mode with Command Prompt?
