DigeratiPrime
Well that thread is helpful, but its a little outdated. Heres some updates:BitDefender 9 Internet Security1) I really like this programs anti-virus / firewall. they recently added webfiltering. Limited compared to ZoneAlarm Security Suite, but can have its advantages.AOL Internet Access Controls1) ive never used it so i dont know how good it is.2) free, but you need an aol login to download/use it.What are Internet Access Controls?Internet Access Controls ("IAC") are designed to help give parents more control over the online content available to their kids. When Internet Access Controls are installed on your computer, your children will only be able to surf the Internet and visit Web sites based on the AOL Parental Control level assigned to their screen name, even if they are using a web browser outside of the AOL software! How does IAC work? After you install Internet Access Controls on your computer, anyone who attempts to use an application that accesses the Internet (from your computer) will be asked for their AOL screen name and password so that we can determine if it is a Parentally Controlled screen name or not. If the screen name is a Kids Only, Young Teen or Mature Teen screen name, the user will only be allowed to access AOL and web sites through an external web browser based on the AOL Parental Control level assigned to their screen name. Internet access for all other programs will be blocked. If the user's screen name is a General Access (18+) screen name, Internet access will be unrestricted using external browsers or other programs which require an internet connection.
