[HELP]I can't integrate the following Hotfixs with /integrate swit

Hello,all!

I'm a beginner and I want to use /integrate:path switch to integrate hotfixs after WINXPSP2 to Windows XP with SP2 VOL CD.

And I found that some hotfixs can't use /integrate switch,examples are KB873339, KB885250, KB885835, KB885836, KB886677, KB887742, KB888113, KB888302, KB891781.

I found that the "update.exe"'s version in these hotfixs are all 5.5.0033.0,and when I using /integrate:path switch, it comes out an error windows, mainly about that this hotfix's version can't be integrated to the XPCD.

The hotfixs which I can use /integrate switch ,its update.exe's version is all 6.1.0022.4.

Is that mean the hotfixs with update.exe's version 5.5.0033.0 can't use /integrate switch to integrate to the XPCD with SP2??? Or is there any way to integrate them to the XPCD with SP2?

Hotfixes using an update.exe version older that the 6.0 version do not support the /integrate switch. You'll have to use the svcpack method, or nLite, or some other tool to integrate these hotfixes.

I use integrate for all of those updates. But I believe kb886677 isn't needed anymore.

Also there is a conflict between kb885250 and kb885835, see http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38820 or http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...15entry279415

But I can't integrate those hotfixes,I have to use the svcpack.ini way.

what error do you get?

The script in the post that the second link goes to is how I integrate all of my updates. Which include all but one of the updates you have listed in your first post.
