  1. In http://unattended.msfn.org/index.htm You can find the following: » Translations These translations are neither supported or maintained by MSFN. We cannot verify the integrity of these translations so please use at your own risk. Requesting help in your native language (with the exception of english) is not permitted on the MSFN forums. You can check this forum thread to see if a translation is in progress if its not listed below. Please reply to the thread if you want to make a translation. German | Russian | Italian | Dutch | Simplified Chinese | Polish | Turkish So it must be permitted by the msfn.org's administrator. And I also found the www.msfn.org through http://www.cctips.com/Unattended/index.htm ,So I think is better to translate it into more language to help more people in the world.
  2. In http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832475/' target="_blank"> It's says"Update.exe version 5.4.15.0 and later versions support the following new features: • The /integrate command-line switch. You can use the new /integrate switch to integrate software updates, such as security updates, critical updates, and hotfixes, that use Update.exe as the Setup program for your Windows installation source files. For more information about how to use this switch to integrate a software update into your Windows installation source files, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 828930 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828930/) How to integrate software updates into your Windows installation source files " But I can't integrate those hotfixes,I have to use the svcpack.ini way. Don't know what's wrong.
  3. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...73entry422073 read the last pair post Thank you! I have made my WINRAR pack with SP1 and langpack. And I have test it ,it's working OK in svcpack.ini mode and cmdline mode.
  4. Hello, all! I'm a beginner and I want to use /integrate:path switch to integrate hotfixs after WINXPSP2 to Windows XP with SP2 VOL CD. And I found that some hotfixs can't use /integrate switch, examples are KB873339, KB885250, KB885835, KB885836, KB886677, KB887742, KB888113, KB888302, KB891781. I found that the "update.exe"'s version in these hotfixs are all 5.5.0033.0,and when I using /integrate:path switch, it comes out an error windows, mainly about that this hotfix's version can't be integrated to the XPCD. The hotfixs which I can use /integrate switch ,its update.exe's version is all 6.1.0022.4. Is that mean the hotfixs with update.exe's version 5.5.0033.0 can't use /integrate switch to integrate to the XPCD with SP2??? Or is there any way to integrate them to the XPCD with SP2? Thank you!

  7. Hi all! sorry if I'm redundant but did'nt found any hit in the forum I need some help: cannot verify every installed hotfixes are ok,as instructed in http://unattended.msfn.org/beginner/hotfix/svcpack.htm. because I found after finishing installing the winxp with SP2 and with integrated hotfix,I found in "C:\Windows",there are many KBxxxxxx.LOG FILES,and after I opened them,I found there are many "errors" in it.But when I run "Windows Update" in IE,and after the Microsoft web page checked my system,it seemed that there are no left critical/uncritical hotfix to install especially Donnet framework 1.1,2.0 and etc. My questions is :Is all Hotfixs which I integrated in my unattend CD is installed successfully? What does thoese "errors" in KB******.LOG mean? Thank you! Following steps have been done: - Copy all downloaded hotfix files into this directory: C:\XPCD\i386\SVCPACK\ - Rename all the files to the 8.3 naming format - Copye qchain.exe into SVCPACK folder - deleted svcpack.in_ and creating svcpack.inf in \I386 with the content: ;Windows XP [Version] Signature="$Windows NT$" MajorVersion=5 MinorVersion=1 BuildNumber=2600 [setupData] CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK" [ProductCatalogsToInstall] [setupHotfixesToRun] KB873374.EXE /Q:A /R:N . . . .
