Sonic Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Strange, the %UsersProfile% variable isn't a windows variable, however %UserProfile% exist and point to your profile (eg: C:\Documents and Settings\YourLogin )
shahdad Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 Strange, the %UsersProfile% variable isn't a windows variable, however %UserProfile% exist and point to your profile (eg: C:\Documents and Settings\YourLogin )now the fact that i changed the desktop value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Foldersfrom something to %USERSPROFILE%\desktop isnt the the reason it keeps on making hte file on destop?
Sonic Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 (edited) excuse me, I don't understand all what you say (I'm french ) ...You want to change to %UsersProfile%, you want to restore the original value ? If yes, you must type %UserProfile% (without 'S' after User ...) Edited November 14, 2005 by sonic
