I have a USB/PS2 compatible Microsoft Trackball mouse...

I had previously unplugged it while the computer was running to get cleaned...I then plugged it back in to the PS2 port and restarted the computer...When it powered up, the mouse did not work, so I plugged it into the USB port and it started to work again...Now if I put it back in the PS2 port, it still doesn't work...Any ideas?

The mouse is a Trackball Explorer 1.0 PS2/USB Compatible mouse...
