Anybody seen this before?

I am running windows 2000 Pro on a machine used as a file server for a small network of 4 windows 98 workstations and a couple of windows 2000 workstations.

When I look at the sessions folder in computer management I can sometimes see duplicate connections by a workstation with one of the entries containing a blank name.

what is going on :) can anybody explain?

what protocal are you using?

and is it only the 98 workstations or the 2000 workstations that are showing up as duplicates? or all?

using TCP/IP with Netbios.

seems to occur on any workstation randomly

sometimes its ok.... then a refresh may reveal a second entry with a blank user :)
