Claymore1746 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 In Internet Explorer:Tools => Internet Options => Connections tab = check the 'Never dial a connection' radio button.
rjz Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I have this problem to but, even when I click the box the stting toggles back later. This occurs in user and adminmodes. Any ideas?
suryad Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I believe a router would solve your problem. Once you configure your router your machine will never need to dial again and it will be as if you are alway on. This is in the case of DSL. In the case of Cable you are always on I believe and do not require dialing.
dibbo Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Hi gagira, i think, At present u have another dial up connection(modem) installed in ur computer. So remove all the other hardware(modem) except ur ADSL/DSL modem in ur computer, and restart . I think after that ur problem will be solved.
Gagira Posted November 16, 2005 Author Posted November 16, 2005 I have tried all those ways but none of them work?
itdude59 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Also make sure your broadband connection is set as the default connection. Or at least your existing dial-up connection is NOT set as the default. (under Network Connections in the Control Panel)
