November 11, 200520 yr Hi!I want to change my registry to make every user's Windows Explorer to show files and folders as a list instead of icons...I've looked in TweakUI, but this setting isn't available...I've even bought Microsoft Press - Microsoft Windows XP Registry Guide, but didn't find any answer...Is there any place to find this kind of information?Thanks!ShrimpyOne
November 11, 200520 yr Does the Reg hack for you. Don't know where though.Click My Computer >> C:\ then on Toolbar >> Views >> ListNow Click Tools >> Folder Options >>View and 'Apply to all Folders'

November 11, 200520 yr Have you looked in the RegTweaks section of the UA forums? I'm pretty sure the answer is lying in one of the reg files that people have posted.Either that, or you could use RegShot to see the before/after of your registry when you change the view mode to List. November 11, 200520 yr click on start\control panel\folder optionsgo to the view tab and click on "apply to all folders"just kiddin...i just had to throw that one in there....but i am curious how to do this...as i would like to import the regtweaks for the folder view as well.
November 12, 200520 yr i'm pretty sure this has been posted before.if i remember correctly, key is "streams", use regshot to look for changes and then search for that key
