X-Savior
Hi There,Ok, Here is what I need.... I Need to integrate Basic Drivers for the Sound Blaster X-FI so you get BASIC Audio. This will fill my needs until the full installation can be performed from the Creative Disc. I like to listen to Music while waiting for my Apps to install. LOL!!! Anyone know What Drivers to use or some of you Guru's have an even easier way. I would like to add them to my $OEM$ Path in Winnt.sif but I am not sure what drivers to include. Dynaletik
Please check this post. There is a link to an shrunken X-Fi driver. But it does not work for me, because my system needs to run CTZAPXX.exe. But perhaps the driver helps you.
X-Savior
Hi There,I Tried to use that Driver provided for the X-FI but it does not work. I just get an Exclamation Mark for the Driver and No Audio. Anyone been able to get the X-FI to work in any way?
Dynaletik
I'm using this driver from the Creative Website. It works, but it is still 55 MB. That is the only problem. To configure my X-Fi, I made an WinRAR SFX Archive that contains the Audio Console. I don't need more.
HeadHunter2
i have hopefully fixed the X-FI slim driver.I changed some lines in the inf that it was possible to put all files in one folder.I've deinstalled my driver and installed this one and it works no errors or such. Please give me feedback if this new driver works for you too!EDIT: heres the link:http://rapidshare.de/files/7501758/X-Fi_WDM.rar.html Edited November 11, 2005 by HeadHunter2
Dynaletik
The driver does not work for me. It says "Das Gerät kann nicht gestartet werden. (Code 10)".It seems as if the driver must contain the CTZAPXX.Exe to install sucessfully.
