HalStyli Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Hello,I have a few ISOs, mostly bootable but not all and I would like to update them with a file or a whole folder - and maintain the bootability if it was there originally.I get the impression you have to extract everything to a folder, update the folder, then create a new iso with the extracted boot image. Presumably there is no (free?) tool where you can simply drag and drop straight into an ISO image?Assuming not...a) Can someone please recommend a tool for doing this as simply as possible on XP. I have been experimenting with cdimage and wondered if there were other favoured methods?B) What about Linux? I have used Mkiofs / cdrecord in the past. Are there better ways (preferably free)? Thanks in advance for any help given.Hal.
Sonic Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 You can modify/update ISO files with UltraISO and you keep the bootable feature ... but the demo limit to 100mb file
