Rayza
I have a server running Small Business Server 2k3 and a workstation running XPsp2. Everything has been running fine until about a week ago the user was unable to logon to the domain on their workstation. The error received stated that either the username or password was wrong. The user is able to logon to other workstations with no problems. The only account that works on the workstation is the admin acc, both local and domain. Connectivity with the server exists and i'm using the workstation now on this forum. I've checked the user acc's on the pc and even added the user as a domain user with no change. Can anyone shed some light as to why the user cant logon to their own pc.

bijicool
A tricky one:Go to Control Panel, User AccountsClick on the advanced tab, and then you'll find a button "Manage Passwords"Then check wether the server you want to connect to is listed. If it is, just remove it because it is not needed there
Rayza
Checked the "manage passwords" section - BlankLogs didn't show anything of interest either....I've just fixed it!!!I reset the password from the server to exactly what it was and made sure that it was set to "not expire" and "user cannot change..." and now the user can login.....
