Deleting a file from memory

my home page has been directed to( res://shdochop.dll/blank.html) I've tried to delete but it keeps re-surfacing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

download and install "spybot s&d" and "adaware" google for them both and take the first links.

install them both and run full updates, then do full scans and fix all errors

-disbale system restore first... if its still there, post back here

edit, also download this.. http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/

then use it to delete C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdochop.dll

yes.. definately a spyware problem. I would also recommend running MS antispyware... I have had great success repairing a damaged IE with MSAntiSpyware
